
ENGINEERING GEOLOGY (CEG) & HYDROGEOLOGY (CHG) CERTIFICATION EXAM REVIEW COURSES
The California Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology Certification exams are only administered once a year in October.
They do not offer the Certification exams in March. Completed exam applications, including all references, transcripts, etc. are typically due at least 120 days prior to exam date. For the 2010 exams the due date is June 7th, 2010.
The CEG/CHG Review Courses are now ready for registration for the October, 2010 exams.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

PREPARATORY COURSES for the HYDROGEOLOGY (CHG) & ENGINEERING GEOLOGY (CEG) CERTIFICATION EXAMS
- The Review courses for the California CEG and CHG Certification Exams will be taught once a year in June. Plan ahead.
- The Review Courses for the California CEG and CHG Certification Exams cover the topics that are most strongly emphasized on those exams.
In the CEG course we cover soil mechanics, field investigations, seismicity, engineered structures, geologic hazards, and regulations.
This will include a a brief refresher on pertinent aspects of structural geology, hydrogeology, geomorphology, and ethics.
In the CHG course we cover general hydrogeology, water quality, contaminant hydro, and regulations. Both courses address review topics designed
to focus your studying and provide tips that save time and boost your efficiency. You'll also be guided in strategies for exam taking and
preparation, including references.
- Included in the course price for both the CEG and CHG courses are the respective Engineering Geology Study Manual or the
Hydrogeology Geology Study Manual. Flash cards are not included in the course prices but can be ordered.

All Course Materials will be mailed to pre-registrants upon receipt of fees.
However, course materials are not mailed while we are travelling to teach.
