The Review Course for the National Geology Licensing Exam ASBOG® covers the topics that are most strongly emphasized on the exam, including the general geologic topics – field investigations, structural geology, and map interpretation as well as hydrogeology, engineering geology, economic geology, geomorphology, stratigraphy/sedimentology/paleontology, mineralogy/petrology/geochemistry and ethics.
Although the Fundamentals of Geology (FG) and Practice of Geology (PG) exams have a different approach to their questions there is about an 70% overlap in the technical topics. Therefore, the REG REVIEW course addresses both the FG and PG portions of the exam together. However, where appropriate specific information pertaining to only one exam or the other will be noted. We credit our 20-25% higher pass rates in part to this combined teaching approach, which provides a larger conceptual foundation from which to take either exam.

- NOT INCLUDED*: The two books you need for the class (Geology Study Manual & Practice Tests) are not included since you already have or have ordered a copy. If you have copies from earlier than 2020 we recommend you re-order a full set of study manuals (or register for a course through the main link here: https://regreview.com/product/courses-1/). While the materials you have are still relevant and useful, a significant amount of content has been added to the manuals, and fully worked answers have been added to the practice tests. The page numbers in the course will not match those in your older manuals.

- The live webinars are 2 consecutive days (6 hours each) on the weekends, you can ask questions and engage with the professors during the course.
- Recordings of your course will be provided for additional review and study for up to 1 year after your course date.
