PREPARATORY COURSES for the ASBOG® EXAMS
The Review Course for the National (ASBOG®) Geology Licensing Exam covers the topics that
are most strongly emphasized on the exam, including the general geologic topics - field investigations,
structural geology, and map interpretation as well as hydrogeology, engineering geology, economic geology,
geomorphology, stratigraphy/sedimentology/paleontology, mineralogy/petrology/geochemistry and ethics.
Although the FG and PG exams have a different approach to their questions there is about an 70% overlap
in the technical topics. Therefore, the REG REVIEW course addresses both the FG and PG portions of the
exam together. However, where appropriate specific information pertaining to only one exam or the other
will be noted.
The live webinars are 2 consecutive half days (5 hours each) on the weekends. All courses are exactly
the same material which is geared to give you focus and direction to allow you to streamline your
studying process to make the best use of your limited time and boost your efficiency. You'll also
be guided in strategies for exam taking and preparation, including supplemental reference materials.
Included in the course price are the Geology Study Manual for the National (ASBOG®) Geology
Licensing Exams and the Practice Quizzes book along with a course notes packet that contains a large number
of sample questions and any new material that has not yet made it into the study manual. These course notes
are only available to course participants. Flash cards are not included in the course price but can be
ordered separately. Updates to the study materials are made periodically based on the feedback from our
students.

All Course Materials will be mailed to pre-registrants upon receipt of fees. However, course materials
are not mailed while we are traveling to teach. Registration priority is in order of postmark or date
